The Mills College Art Museum strives to make contemporary art accessible and approachable.

There are three accessible parking spaces in the parking lot in front of the Art Museum, along with curb cuts to transition to the sidewalk.
The museum entrance can be reached via wheelchair accessible ramp or by climbing a set of seven steps with a handrail.
Restrooms
Visitors can access gendered restrooms (with changing tables) at Aron Art Center A, located 125 feet from the museum across the plaza. Restrooms are wheelchair accessible with automatic doors. The building doors are not automatic, but a museum staff member can open them for you if you would like assistance.
In the Gallery
The gallery welcomes manual and electric wheelchairs, electric mobility scooters, and other power-driven mobility devices.
Sturdy portable stools are available next to the front door for visitors to borrow.
Exhibition wall labels are printed in 18- and 16-point type.
Tours
